ACCREDITATION
& DISCLOSURE
Medical CME
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the
Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for
Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of
the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of
Medicine, The University of Iowa College of Public Health, and
Physicians for Social Responsibility. The University of Iowa
Carver College of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide
continuing medical education for physicians.
The University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine designates
this educational activity for a maximum of 8.75 category 1
credits for the full program toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition
Award. Each physician should claim only those credits
that he/she actually spent in the activity.
Nursing CEU
The University of Iowa College of Nursing is
an Iowa Board of Nursing approved provider, Number 1. Full
time attendance for this program will award 0.84 CEUs or
8.4 contact hours.
Social Work CEU
The UIHC Department of Social Service is an Iowa Board of Social Work
Examiners approved provider #0032. This program is approved for 7.5 hours of social work continuing
education credit in the area of Assessment and Treatment, establishing
treatment goals and monitoring progress.
