Please join us for the Palm Sunday Procession for Peace:

Please consider putting this dramatic teaching, proclaiming and action event on your calendar as a major part of observing Holy Week.  Invite others to join you.  The event is sponsored by many Des Moines area congregations and peace committees.

Last year’s ecumenical Palm Sunday Procession proved to be an inspiring experience for about five hundred participants.  Congregations/Peace Organizations once again are marching under banners with one of the Biblical themes capturing the call to be peace-makers.  The parade, led by children, will start at the Moulton School yard, across from Trinity United Methodist Church (8th and College), and culminate in a prayer service at St. Ambrose Cathedral (6th and High).

Congregations, peace and justice committees, and other organizations and all persons are cordially invited to participate in this event.  Please contact us if you would like more information.
